Baconism, more rarely Baconicism, is the study and worship of Bacon. Followers of Baconism may be called one of many Church titles (see title hierarchy), or the generic terms Baconist, Baconologist, Baconicist, Baconer, and Baconeer.

History of Baconism

Baconism evolved out of Bacotheism, the belief in a conscious creator resembling a pig or hog. Some translations reveal this creator to have been occasionally called the Hog Mother or Hog Goddess. Such beliefs disappeared into obscurity centuries ago. What remains of Baconism is a community of initiates striving for Baconlightenment. David Zemkie is the formost theologian for bacon theology. His understudies are working towards universal acceptance of the one true bacon.

Baconism Community

In 2009, The Bacon Insitute [1] was founded as the "Myspace" of the baconism or baconist movement for people who love bacon.
